2013 AIS Watercraft Inspection Report

The North Fork Crow River Watershed District (NFCRWD) employed 4 level 1 watercraft inspectors during 2013. The inspectors were trained by the
MN DNR to inspect boats entering and exiting public boat accesses on the District’s recreational lakes. Contributors to the project included the MN
DNR, Koronis Lake Association, Rice Lake Association, Grove Lake Association, City of Paynesville, Meeker County, Paynesville TWP, Union Grove TWP and the NFCRWD. The Lake Koronis Association also hired 3 Water Guards’ volunteer inspectors to provide educational information at additional accesses.
